Dijon. Holidays with the Little Brothers of the Poor: “It’s good to bring back good memories”

Chatty and smiling, Agnès Egot, 68, tells us about her links with the association Petits Frères des Pauvres (PFP).

"I joined the PFP association fifteen years ago because I had lost my husband. So, I needed a place where I would be comfortable. Thanks to them, I'm not alone, the people in this association have become friends [beneficiaries and volunteers, editor's note]. When we meet up, we catch up, everyone thinks of each other." The association "fights against the isolation and loneliness of the elderly," explains Marthe Lemant, PFP's national communications officer. She emphasizes the importance of "creating social connections for these people." In Côte-d'Or, the PFP looks after 110 isolated elderly people .
